Ethnic Tour "Sacred lands of Atsagat"

The village Atsagat is about 80 km from Ulan-Ude. It is a typical Buryat village, standed in steppes surrounded by mountains. The tour complex includs several Buryat houses - yurtas, big banket and concert hall. 



The programme:

- departure fom Ulan-Ude

- arrival to Atsagat

- visiting the Buddhist temple of Atsagat (meeting with a Buddhist monk - lama) 

- if a good weather - climbing the hill Tamhita - sacred place of Buryat shamans (shaman ritual)

- visiting the tour complex "Steppe Nomads"

- meeting with Buryat people

- concert programm (customs and traditions of buryat people)

- playing national games  (table game with ship bones - shagee, archery)

- dancing Buryat dance - yohor

- dinner (traditional cuisine)

- departure to Ulan-ude


It is possible to change the programm and add some extra options like: visiting the village (buryat family), going to the place of sacred mineral water - Arshan, making traditional food workshop and many other per request.
